Pure Ladin: Chalet Löm in the
Val Badia/Gadertal valley
If you spend a bit of time up here, this is what happens: your mind clears, your shoulders relax, and your breathing becomes deeper and more mindful. Chalet Löm is a place for mindfulness: here you’ll experience comfort, architectural simplicity, and Ladin hospitality. Patrick, Noemi, and Heidi welcome you into a temporary home that completely redefines the concept of a holiday.
The Löm highlights at a glance
- From the forest: local timber used in the chalet’s construction
- Two unique homes: Tone and Nane each offer 110 square metres of dream holiday accommodation.
- Vertical freedom: three floors just for you
- Pure relaxation: Swiss stone pine sauna and private outdoor whirlpool
- The Ladin soul: apartments bathed in mountain light
- Winter Express: 15 minutes’ drive to Piccolino (access point for Mt Plan de Corones/Kronplatz and the Alta Badia ski area)
Three floors, designed for you
The apartments at Chalet Löm are spread over three floors. This way, everyone can find their favourite spot, and it's wonderfully easy to get on with one another under this shared roof.
The foundation of relaxation: on the ground floor, you open the door to your private Swiss stone pine spa. A warm scent of resin greets you, while a gentle reflection of daylight shimmers in the spring water within the lava stone bowl. Just a few steps further on, your very own Jacuzzi awaits in the garden.

The heart of the house: the chalet truly comes to life on the first floor. As the light streams in through the panoramic windows, you can cook together at the kitchen island or enjoy long conversations at the large wooden table. In the evenings, the fire crackles in the fireplace, while in summer you can feel the cool shade of the coniferous forest from the terrace at the back, overlooking the woods. At the rear, screened off from the living area, lies the master bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom and a small private terrace.

The best seat in the house, right at the top: in the attic, you’ll find a cosy bedroom featuring lovely details crafted from fragrant Swiss stone pine. And then there’s the real reason why you came up here: the Enrosadira Loge. With its deep sofas, it invites you to watch the glowing rossié dla sëra (evening glow) on Mt Sasso Santa Croce/Heiligkreuzkofel through the floor-to-ceiling glass fronts.

Double the freedom under one roof
Chalet Löm comprises two separate areas: Tone and Nane. Each side has its own entrance, its own garden, its own terrace, and its own completely private spa area.
What do “Tone” and “Nane” actually mean?
The fact that our two apartments are called Tone and Nane makes us smile every day. They’re our grandparents’ names! For us, it’s a way of honouring them and thanking them: for the legacy they have left behind, and for all the carefree moments that you and future generations now share together under this roof.
How to make the most of your Löm break
Snuggle up in your bathrobes, read cosily by the fireside, and watch as the evening sun sets Mt Sasso Santa Croce/Heiligkreuzkofel aglow.

Rent the house together with your loved ones; the children will be running about carefree in the meadow, and in the evening, you’ll all relax together in the warm Jacuzzi.

Lace up your walking boots right by the garden gate, or take a 15-minute drive to the Piccolino valley station to hit the slopes in the Alta Badia ski resort.

Quiet location with excellent transport links
Here in the hamlet of Colac, you can enjoy peace and quiet, yet everything is within easy reach: the Piccolino valley station, which provides access to Mt Plan de Corones/Kronplatz and the Alta Badia ski area, is a 15-minute drive away. If you fancy a spot of shopping and culture, why not take a trip to Bruneck?
Your questions for us
Absolutely. We’re more than happy to provide you with cots and high chairs. The spaciousness of the rooms ensures that young and old alike feel completely at home.
No. Both Tone and Nane have their own wellness area on the ground floor and their own Jacuzzi on the private lawn.
Neither… nor. You’ll be staying in a semi-detached house spread over three floors with its own entrance. The only thing shared between the two properties is the spacious plot of land.
